Supported by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, “Replay” is a cooperative project whose goal is to attract and engage large and diverse audiences in participatory dance shows and give participants the desire to re-play the experience. Replay is a label for replayable participatory performances, that assembles/gathers three creation domains: performing arts, game-design and digital creation. Four artistic works are created during the Replay European project and constitute the first Replay set. By bringing together game design, audiences and choreography, we aim to develop new forms of performing art, challenge the traditional notion of performative show and engage new audiences thanks to replayability.
The project gathers the following partners: Orbe (project leader, France), Bassano del Grappa (Italy), ICK (Netherlands), Holonic Systems (Finland), Yasmeen Godder Dance Company (Israël), BAM (Italy).
